Ezra, these are RAD. I love the background symbols, so cool.
I think that you dont really need the line around your Y in your mark. The letters would pop out more with some more line with variation I think. Perhaps you dont need to repeat byu in your bottom text and it can just say Chinese Club and you can expand it to make it bigger. These are just some thoughts from a fellow designer. I hope I was of some use :)

looks great! Does the Y still have Asian American Association? That's the one I was involved with when I was there. Is the Chinese Club open to all or geared more towards Chinese Nationals? just curious
